From Newtown High School:

Take Route 25 South.

Take Exit 6 (Old Town Road).

At the end of the ramp, take a RIGHT on to Old Town Road.

Follow Old Town Road to Madison Avenue for about a mile (you have to take a RIGHT and then a LEFT to stay on Old Town Road).

Take a LEFT on Madison Avenue.

Veteran's Park will be on the RIGHT less than a mile down Madison Avenue.
